In 2000, the largest university hospital in Germany asked us to introduce the MES® (Medical Supply Control) method in both the Charité Mitte and Virchow Clinics campuses. This is what the auditors responsible for the annual accounts for 2000 say:
“The decrease in supply costs is almost in full due to the medical supply sector. The reasons for this development are […] the intensive cooperation with the Institute for Function Analysis in the Health System Ltd. (Institut für Funktionsanalyse im Gesundheitswesen GmbH, later Lohfert & Lohfert AG), Hamburg”.
